ds light or nintendo wii?
recently, i saw many people holding a ds light gadget to play everywhere. joy also talked to me about ds light. i wish to own one.
but, it seems that wii is also a great thing to have at home. my er gu loves it too. this weekend, i may have a chance to play wii at rosewood condo. i hope it is better than my experience at my friend's house.
given a choice, i would like to have a wii. mummy doesn't seem to like ds light. she said that too much of finger playing will cause bone problem.
we will see.

pokeman comics
mummy bought me 2 pokeman comics recently. i really enjoyed reading them because of the interesting storylines. do you kinow that joy also read the books.
in fact, it was joy who taught me how to play pokeman games in the handphone. i also have a set of pokeman cards. but until today, no one really plays with me. the cards are kind of boring. but the books are fun.
i always enjoy reading. i would rather read 100 books than do 1 test paper.
mummy always encourages me to read widely.
i should be getting my new issue of young scientist soon. hooray!

cca resumes tomorrow
oh no, my chinese dance cca will start again tomorrow. but it will be from 2 to 5 pm. 3 solid hours. last time was only 1 hour. i am going to faint or die of tiredness.
but i have no choice. i have a friend who wanted to quit from choir but was not allowed by the cca teacher-in-charge. what is more, she was also in the syf this year.
so, i will try to enjoy my session tomorrow and make more friends, learn new skills too.

tricia's present from the states
my good friend, tricia just came back from her USA holiday. she was so thoughtful to buy me some stationery gifts which has the word 'claire's' on it. these gifts were bought in a shop called 'claire's'.
her sweet gesture touches my heart. tricia told me that the 18 hour flight was quite torturing but the trip itself was worth every pain.
she came over to my house with her ds light gadget & other toy stuff. we played for two and a half hours and had a wonderful time together.
holiday is coming to an end. we must all go back to school. i don't really look forward to it but mummy said that staying home for too long a time will make a child lazy.
i appreciate the friendship with tricia and hope that we can be best friends forever....would daddy bring me to the states one day? i better train myself to sit still first!

wild wild wet outing - 17/6/08
ai yo yo, i have been very lazy recently.
better update my blog. otherwise, mummy will want to remove it altogether.
i went wild wild wet with my family and cousin joanna on tues. it was really fun. i enjoyed the slide in the children area. my dad also joined in the fun throughout like a child. for the first time, i picked up my courage to try the yellow open slide - super long - because my mummy promised to do it after me.
my most courageous slide was the purple tunnel slide. it was long and dark inside. 4 years ago when i was in nursery, i did not dare to go on it. but i succeeded this time round. mummy said that she nearly died of fright in the dark tunnel as she was somehow stuck halfway because she was not in total lying position.
an amusing incident happened in the wave pool.. guess what? i lost my front milk tooth which was already quite shaky. the rushing of the wave against my face actually loosened it and the tooth was forever gone in the pool. sob sob ...no more cash reward from tooth fairy.
it was a fun time lazing in the pool too. the foam cove was also interesting.
i am really glad that daddy brought us there. i'm sure joanna also enoyed herself tremendously.

fish feeding - pasir ris
yesterday, i went to the pasir ris fish farm with my mum. popo, gong gong, trisha and brilliana were with us. we had fun feeding the koi and other fish with dried food. $1 per packet.
halfway, it started to rain. the rain was falling down from the roof shelter so we could feel the rain splashing at us. the surrounding was filled with greeneries and my mum told me that it was like a kampong place.
there was also a swing for children to play.
although the place was simple, it was fun and interesting.
after that, we went to tampines 'giant' supermarket. i had a great time playing catching with my 2 cousins. the giant mart was big and spacious. it was cooling to shop in there.
back home at 4 pm, i went swimming with my friend, joey. a swim made me more alert.
that was how i spent my 1st day of holiday. hope my cousin joanna was here to join me. but i think she has 1-week school this week. poor thing. that means she is only left with 3 weeks' holiday.
and lastly, i am looking forward to playing at her house on 14 jun - joanna's birthday.
my mum and i are shopping for a birthday gift for joanna today.

good bye to my front teeth :)
finally, my front tooth was pulled out by my yipo last saturday. her hand was so strong that she could pull it bare-handed. i was so relieved because there is nothing hanging loose from my gum now and i could eat peacefully.
joy took some pictures of my new look and thought i look cute. but mum said i look a little funny. i am annoyed.
i put my tooth under the pillow and the tooth fairy gave me $3, including an antique $1 bill. i was delighted.
now, the other of my front tooth is also shaky. i will get yipo to help again. many thanks to her.
